WESTON-SUPER-MARE A nursing home manager laughed at an elderly resident who cut her head open after a fall, a hearing was told today Monday.
Catherine Mutongwizo said ‘let’s all laugh about this’ after the accident at Beaufort Hall Nursing Home, Weston-Super-Mare, it is claimed.
Mutongwizo allegedly exposed another resident to the risk of choking and advised a colleague not to record concerns about a resident in case the Care Quality Commission inspected the diary.
She is also accused of failing in her responsibility to assure that all members of staff were provided with adequate training.
