These last few days have been nothing short of amazing. I’m a million miles away from home and yet I feel like I never left. The love I’ve received has had me near tears several times, often I just stand there smiling like an idiot because I’m speechless. 
The dark splodge of make up on my face last night was something I decided not to wipe off during the night because it was the only evidence I had to show of all the hugs and kisses I was getting from people who were just so genuinely happy to see me. I’ve never felt so welcomed. I’ve gotten to meet a lot of my active social media family, I’ve been showered with gifts but nothing means as much to me as the smiles and hugs when I actually recognize some of the faces and names.
