Zimbabwe Local Government Minister Saviour Kasukuwere has won a breakthrough against the deportation of his son, Takudzwa; it has emerged. It a huge victory for Takudzwa in the United Kingdom.
It has been more than four weeks later since the launching of a government petition; Takudzwa Kasukuwere continues his studies undisturbed. Takudzwa who is at Swansea University was facing deportation calls with the United Kingdom government being encouraged to by public protests. Zimbabwean’s who stormed prime minister office last month demanding the removal of Takudwa from the UK.
But documents that were seen by TheZimbabweNewsLive.com strongly point that the UK government is not going to heed those calls and demos by Zimbabwean’s. One letter from Prime Minister Theresa May last week stated that Zimbabwean protesters misfired when they filed their petition at her office. They should have rather submitted it to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the correspondence said.
Further to those documents, Kasukuwere’s hired solicitor Dr Masimba Mavaza told an online publication he has since pulled away from his lawsuit. He had last month launched proceedings to sue people calling for Takudzwa Kasukuwere’s deportation.-Online
