Pretoria police have sent reinforcements to a squatter camp east of the city after fighting erupted between Zimbabweans and locals on Sunday.
One man died in the brawl and several people were hospitalised. Police spokesperson Colette Weilbach says Basotho nationals were allegedly attacked by Zimbabweans while playing soccer in Plastic View outside Garsfontein.
She says no arrests have been made and police are monitoring the situation while leaders from both groups negotiate.
