First cannabis entrepreneur makes Inc. Magazine’s ’30 Under 30′ list

Inc. Magazine names cannabis e-commerce founder to 2016 “30 Under 30″ list.

Aeron Sullivan, founder and executive chairman of Tradiv, has been named to Inc. Magazine’s “30 Under 30” list of influential entrepreneurs.

Sullivan founded Tradiv in 2015, and at least 230 businesses are already using the online cannabis marketplace in Colorado alone. Upwards of $1 million worth of cannabis is sold through the platform each month, according to a release.

Inc. describes the company as “the Amazon of legal marijuana” and says the online platform makes “it as easy for a dispensary owner to buy a pound of high-grade marijuana as it is for a liquor store to buy a case of Scotch.”

“Our cannabis distribution platform makes traditionally cost-prohibitive distribution services affordable for small and big businesses alike,” Sullivan said.

The now 30-year-old entrepreneur said he feels honored to be the first-ever cannabis industry member to make Inc.’s list of young influencers, and he expressed optimism that stigmas surrounding cannabis will dissipate as it becomes an increasingly mainstream industry.

“We hope that by offering professional services, we can demonstrate to the rest of the country that cannabis businesses can be a healthy part of the community — not something to be feared,” he said in a release.
