The fall-out between President Robert Mugabe and his former deputy, Joice Mujuru, over what role each played during the liberation of the country, escalated last week with Mujuru revealing that while others were fighting the war, Mugabe was instead reading books and preying on young girls even though he was married to Sally Hayfron.
Sources close to the Zimbabwe People First (ZimPF) leader say an angry Mujuru revealed that Mugabe used to like “very young girls” during his days in Mozambique… and it was not surprising at all that he ended up marrying a wife who is 41 years younger than him.
“She was angered by a barrage of attacks on her and her late husband by people who would want to appear more Zimbabwean than others, and whose role in the war of liberation was peripheral,” a source told Zimbo Today.com.
“She said if this sustained campaign to label her a liar and a power-hungry woman continues, she will not hesitate to reveal all the secret about the real Mugabe she knows, including how he used to help himself to “very little girls” while others were busy fighting the war.
She said she always laughs when she hear Mugabe warning men who rape little children that they face castration,” the source added. When Mugabe joined the liberation war in Mozambique, he was reportedly sex-starved after languishing in jail for over a decade.
Earlier in the week, Mujuru said Mugabe was ungrateful over the role her late husband, Solomon, played in thrusting him into the leadership of ZANU.
This drew the ire of Mugabe’s spokesman, George Charamba, who accused Mujuru of trying to re-write the country’s history. “She is saying Charamba should shut-up because he was not there in Mozambique. She said if Charamba keeps behaving the way he is doing, she will reveal the “very long list” of names of girls that Mugabe literally raped in Mozambique… and much, much more,” the source said.
