Gospel Musician Sabastian Magacha Dumps Wife

Gospel musician Sabastian Magacha has parted ways with his wife Nomsa Ndikumwe Magacha whom he has been married to for five years.

H-Metro can exclusively reveal that the Bhosvo singer divorced traditionally with Nomsa on Wednesday and is now in the process of filing divorce papers with the High Court.
Magacha confirmed the divorce but he refused to divulge reasons that led to the collapse of his marriage.
“Yes Nomsa and I are no longer together but my management and I have written a statement and that is how best I can respond to the issue that you’re talking about,’ said Magacha.

When contacted for comment Nomsa could neither confirm nor deny but was quick to hang up her phone.
Meanwhile, reliable sources close to the pair revealed that issues of infidelity were the reasons that led to the divorce.
“Saba and wife have been on separation for the past nine months and all this time they have been going to functions together when in actual fact they had already parted ways.
“Nomsa went to Saba’s album launch after he (Magacha) had begged her to come just to protect his image but otherwise their marriage had collapsed a long time ago.
“All that is happening now is just a formality but the honest truth is their marriage ended nine months ago when Nomsa moved out of their matrimonial home.
“From the family meetings that were being done by the Magacha and Ndikumwe families, the issue of infidelity was topical as Nomsa was being accused by Saba to have been involved in an adulterous affair.
“Saba has evidence of the affair that Nomsa had and the other thing that led to their divorce was that Magacha was not in good books with Nomsa’s sisters they had a lot of confrontations before.
“Their issues could have been resolved if Saba had good relations with his in-laws but it was clear that they didn’t like him,” said the source.
Meanwhile, in his statement Magacha chose to be diplomatic by not shedding more light on issues that led to the divorce.
The statements reads:
“Greetings to you all . . . it is with a heavy heart that I come to you all with this news that I have been holding close to me until now.
“As you all know I have been married for the past 5 years and to my disappointment we have experienced many disagreements which is normal in any marriage, but in ours we have failed to resolve them and this has now resulted in us splitting ways.
“We have been separated for the past nine months trying to see if there is a way to fix this, praying to God for direction and unfortunately we have now jointly made the decision to go our separate ways.
“This was not an easy decision to arrive to however, as many of you can relate, once trust is broken it is very hard at times to regain confidence in your partner and often depending on the gravity of the situation, an amicable separation is easier and often a less painful route.
“As a man with strong Christian values, I made all countless attempts to try and keep my family together. What I have realised is that I would be doing not only myself an injustice, but to you all too, by forcibly attempting to portray a public facade of happiness when truly feeling hurt inside.
“I have the utmost respect for her and her family and I pray that this too will be maintained by you all as we go through the final process of our divorce. Be blessed and as always I can never thank you enough for your unwavering support.”
In 2013, Magacha and Nomsa tied the knot and their wedding occurred at a time where the musician was at the peak of his career where he had just released the album Bhosvo.
The couple became the talk of the town after they threw two lavish weddings – one public and the other private.
Ironically the pint sized musician is now divorcing his wife at a time where he is riding high with his latest track titled Mweya Mutsvene which features Jah Prayzah.
