Even in death, a godly man will draw many to Jesus Christ. This was witnessed this afternoon at the burial of the much loved, man of the people SK Mudzanire. As many gathered to bid farewell to a great man in Zaka, Masvingo district. Hundreds of people decided to give their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ, as they responded to a call to receive Jesus Christ and be saved.
Standing side by side with his, Spiritual Father Prophet Victor Boateng, Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa, delivered a powerful sermon to over 2000 mourners. His simple message moved hundreds to an acceptance of Jesus Christ.
‘Death is an inevitable part of life that will come for everyone’. Prophet Makandiwa, emphasised the importance of the condition of a man’s heart when death eventually comes adding that the life and legacy of the late SK Mudzanire, embodied that Christ’s nature.
Hundreds of souls won to Christ even at his funeral
Some of the new converts, who spoke to Onward Christian Radio, said that, there was no better place to turn over a new leaf than in the presence of such powerful men and women of God.
“When you see the likes of great prophets of God, such as Uebert Angel, E. Makandiwa, and Victor Boateng all in one place then you really know that God wants you to change and live a better life in Jesus” said a man who had just received Christ.
Following proceeding from the crowd Prophets Uebert and Bebe Angel, were visibly moved by the testimonies given of their father by members of the Zaka community. One, after the other, members of the community, spoke of the humble nature of the late educator, and preacher that he was.
“Heaven has indeed gained as this man was passionate about developing his community and the people in it. He was a moral compass, for both the young and old who gleaned from his wisdom” said one tearful mourner.
Speaking at the same occasion Prophet Angel’s, spiritual father Prophet Victor Kusi Boateng, took time to appreciate the role played by the late SK Mudzanire, in bringing up his spiritual son.
“My son, comes from good stock. His biological father trained him, in the way of Christ and he has not departed from it. He, is counted among world leaders in ministry, because of the foundation that was laid by this General in his formative years.”
Family members, who spoke echoed the same sentiments saying that a celebration of the life of a General was what he deserves, because he had lived ‘a life full of blessing, laughter and joy.’
S.K Mudzanire, senior will be remembered, as a preacher, educator and businessman who had a tremendous impact in Masvingo, Zimbabwe. He leaves behind his wife, children, grandchildren and great grand children.-Onwardchristianradio
