Musician Innocent Utsiwegota has been taken to court by Doren Nerwande for failing to pay a $24 000 debt he borrowed in 2012. According to court papers seen by Daily News, Utsiwegota paid $2 000 in December 2015 and a further $3 00 in April 2016 before defaulting.

He signed an acknowledgement of debt on 4 July 2016 and according to terms of the agreement he was supposed to pay $1 000 on or before 7 August 2016 and every 7th of each calendar month until the debt was settled. The agreement stated that if he defaulted on one installment the whole amount would become overdue and payable immediately.
