Jonathan Moyo Speaks On Army Assassination Attempts

Jonathan Moyo

Two weeks after the removal of Robert Mugabe in the Operation Restore Legacy launched by the Zimbabwe Defence Forces, former Higher Education Minister Jonathan Moyo has finally opened the lid on the assassination attempts on his life by the army.

Writing in on Tuesday morning, Prof Moyo asked the public to look into his plight.

Members of President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s Lacoste faction accuse Prof Moyo of being the stronghold and the brains behind the former First Lady, Grace Mugabe. For this reason army generals had since last year been warning Moyo in the media that they would soon attack him a development that led to the military take-over of government between the 13th and 15th November 2017.

Moyo showed pictures of his house allegedly shot into several times by semi automatic weapons.

Latest reports suggest that military personnel who raided his house on the 13th November, came back again last week.

“What would you do if you & your family survived a 2am-15 minute ZDF attack on your house with 7 children one of them 12 years old, by 25 SAS snippers with semi automatic weapons; randomly firing tracer bullets & stun grenades? Is this the New Justice? New Dawn? New Era? New Zim?
