I was horrified, but not surprised to read Jim Kunaka’s confessions since he left Zanu PF to date.
After he was fired from Zanu PF for siding with Dr. Joice Mujuru, Kunaka confessed that he was the face of Zanu PF violence which claimed lives in the Mbare suburb of Harare, left scars on many MDC-T supporters and rendered many of them homeless. That is the truth that everyone knew about Jim Kunaka.
The other truth that everyone also knew but needed confirmation is that he was paid by incumbent President of Zimbabwe, Robert Gabriel Mugabe to carry out these heinous, murderous and wicked acts. Jim confessed once again that he was paid to kill when he addressed his welcome back rally in Harare over the weekend:
“I took away the wealth that President Mugabe gave me and squandered it at People First”, Kunaka is correctly quoted by state media. Jim’s only occupation before leaving Zanu PF was to terrorise, maim and kill opponents – thanks to President Robert Mugabe for bankrolling that operation.
Unfortunately for Zimbabwe, we now have a shameless and demented President who no longer cares, whose sole aim is now to die in office without bothering what his misgovernance costs to the country.
People of Zimbabwe must not allow such a state of affairs. Let us unite to remove this evil system from our midst.
