Mugabe Blasts Pastors Stealing From Congregants In The Name Of God

President Robert Mugabe has warned Zimbabweans to be wary of false prophets who are swindling people of their hard-earned cash on the pretext that they will bring them fortunes.

Mugabe was speaking at a joint birthday party for the First Lady and Zanu-PF’s Secretary for Women Affairs, Dr Grace Mugabe and her elder sister Mai Gumbochuma, which was held in Shamva Saturday (yesterday) evening.

When one celebrates their birthday they look back on yesterday and reminisce on their memories sad and happy.

As they look ahead to tomorrow, they wish for their deepest hopes and dreams to come true.

Such were the feelings of two sisters, the First Lady Dr Mugabe and her elder sister Mai Gumbochuma whose birthdays are separated by just a day.

Mai Gumbochuma who turned 60 this year was born on the 22nd of July 1943 while her sibling the First Lady was welcomed into this world on the 23rd of July some 52 years ago.

The President Mugabe joined the family together with other relatives and friends as they celebrated the two birthdays in style.

The President implored people to a personal relationship with the creator and not rely on prophets  who claim to hold powers of prophecy and spiritual healing.

Thanking the creator for the gift of life Amai Mugabe chronicled her life story and thanked her mother for instilling in them Christian values.

She also narrated the role played by her elder sister Mai Gumbochuma.

Amai’s other sister Mai Chidhakwa also heaped praises on their mother who taught them the values of kindness, generosity and self-respect.

Amai Mugabe’s character is demonstrated by her philanthropic work most  exemplified by the children’s home in Mazoe where she takes care of hundreds of orphans.

Amai Mugabe is also an entrepreneur of note running a thriving company Alpha Omega Dairy which has over 2500 cows.
