A Rusape business tycoon and his unnamed girlfriend had a picnic to forget.

According to sources, the local businessman and the woman in white were taking photos at a lion enclosure near Harare in Zimbabwe and the lady got too close to the big cats.

Though we can not be sure about the extent of the injuries, it is clear the bloodied woman was left in serious pain.

The wounds appear to be on her hip and buttocks area.

When contacted by reporters, the park owners refused to comment on the incident.

Lion attacks are very rare in Zimbabwe.
