Prophet Magaya bailed after being charged for raping Midlands State University Student

Prophetic Healing and Deliverance ministries (PHD) founder Walter Magaya has been granted US$2000 bail after he was arrested on allegations of rape.Magaya in court


Magaya was picked up on Friday evening by police details who charged him for rape.
According to court documents sometime in June 2015 Magaya raped Patronella Donodzo Mandaza (25) at his Mt Pleasant home. Magaya chargesMandaza is a masters student at the Midlands State University.
“Magaya arrived in the company of Mandaza whom he showed the house and then left in a room.Magaya bail
“The accused then returned naked and had sexual intercourse once without a condom or protection.
“Mandaza then reported the matter to her boyfriend during the same month,” reads the court papers.
The rape case comes at a time when Magaya had said he will build close to 46000 housing unit after local government minister Saviour Kasukuwere had given him massive tracts of land in Chishawasha.
According to a police report, Magaya was arrested and detained at Rhodesville police station case number DB 453/16.
He was charged with rape and dragged to court where he was released on bail.
As bail condition Magaya is supposed to report to CID law and order three times a week and was remanded to September 15 for trial.
