Darren Fletcher’s two sons have signed their first professional contracts at Manchester United, with one being fast-tracked after impressing Erik ten Hag.

Jack Fletcher and his twin brother Tyler Fletcher spent nine years at Manchester City before moving across to their dad’s former club in the summer.

The two 17-year-olds have both been handed pro deals after doing well for United U18s – with Jack in particular catching the eye of first-team boss Ten Hag.

He’s featured eight times for United U18s, scoring once and providing two assists, while the midfielder has already trained with the first-team squad this term.

Jack went viral for his FA Youth Cup performance against Derby County in December, with many United fans left in awe over his passing ability.

One of his youth teammates, Gabriele Biancheri, has previously compared him to Chelsea superstar Cole Palmer.

‘Really proud to have signed my first professional contract with Manchester United,’ Jack posted on Instagram.

Tyler, who also plays as a midfielder, has not quite hit the same heights as his brother just yet but has still impressed enough to earn himself a pro contract.

Both players were born in Manchester with Tyler a Scotland youth international and Jack an England youth international.

Their dad Darren made 342 appearances for the Red Devils between 2003 and 2015 while he was capped 80 times by Scotland.-Metro
