A Citiliner Bus which was travelling from South Africa and was bound for Bulawayo burst into flames in Beitbridge. Citiliner said that all passengers who were on the bus are safe and that there were no injuries or any loss of life. The company also said that all the passengers had been transported to Bulawayo on a replacement bus. However, it said that the cause of the accident was yet to be determined. The accident happened earlier on today.
Commenting on the accident Twitter, Citiliner said:
We are aware of the incident and the matter is currently being investigated to determine the exact cause. All passengers are safe and no injuries were reported. A replacement vehicle was mobilized and all passengers transported to their final destination with us.
