OPPOSITION leader Morgan Tsvangirai on Thursday led thousands to a peaceful demonstration in the capital Harare demanding the resignation of President Robert Mugabe over poor economic performance and maladministration.
“Mugabe promised to create two million jobs to the people but instead he has created two million vendors and this is why we are asking him to resign because he has failed to run the country,” Tsvangirai told thousands of his supporters at Africa Unity Square.
