UK based Zimbabwean man accused of murdering Zanele Mahachi will face trial today.
Zimbabwean born Zanele Malachi, 22, died in hospital on April 12 after allegedly being attacked by Tapiwa douglas Furusa known online as Tee Faz.
Appearing before a Sheffield Court in July Tapiwa Furusa, 37, did not enter a plea to the charge of murder.
Judge Julian Goose set today, 5 October, as the date for Furusa’s provisional trial.
Zanele was daughter to prominent Masvingo businessman Rannie Mahachi.
She was buried in her hometown a month following her death.
According to police reports from UK, her death caused by multiple stub wounds in a targeted attack that occurred at her mother’s home in Sheffield.
