Pastor Mboro lays fraud charges targeting Bushiri over ‘heaven’ pictures

Controversial religious leader Paseka Motsoeneng‚ popularly known as Pastor Mboro‚ has come under the spotlight yet again after it emerged that he has opened two cases of fraud against Malawian Pastor Shepherd Bushiri.

Speaking to TMG Entertainment on Friday morning SAPS provincial spokesman Colonel Lungelo Dlamini confirmed that investigations are ongoing.

“I can confirm that the SAPS is currently investigating two cases of fraud. These were opened by Mboro but no one has been arrested yet‚” Dlamini said.

Dlamini could not divulge any further details surrounding the allegations or the status of the investigation.

According to Sunday World Mboro alleges that fraudsters set up a Facebook page in his name which has been used to con people. Mboro also reportedly claims that the scammers are responsible for sending out fake messages‚ which included messages that he visited heaven earlier this month.

Apparently the scammers have also allegedly been defrauding people out of money in exchange for divine favours.

Mboro has been making headlines ever since pictures of him claiming to have visited heaven went viral. At the time it emerged that Mboro was allegedly selling the pictures for R5000 a photo.
