Former Zimbabwe captain and Premier League striker Benjani Mwaruwari is set to grace the Sincil Bank turf in tonight’s annual sponsors’ match.
Former Portsmouth, Manchester City and Blackburn Rovers star Benjani, who won 31 caps for his country before retiring from international duty in 2010, will be the special player/manager of the Sponsors Team, who will go head-to-head with a Lincoln City ‘Select’ side which will include a number of former Imps’ players.
The game kicks off at 7.00pm with access to the stadium being via the SRP VIP Lounge with seating available in the Software Europe Stand. Doors open at 5.00pm
