Zimbabwe national soccer team defender and Caps United captain, Hardlife Zvirekwi is admitted at Parirenyatwa hospital in Harare following a car crash along Samora Machel Avenue early this Monday morning, zbc has reported.
Zvirekwi is said to have been travelling from Motor Action Sports Club on his way home when he failed to negotiate a curve resulting in the accident.

The Caps United player was rushed to hospital and is said to be in a critical condition.
Caps United has since released a statement confirming Zvirekwi’s hospitalization.
“His condition is critical and the extent of the injuries and the implication on his playing career will be confirmed in due course after some medical examinations,” read part of the statement.
Zvirekwi reportedly suffered severe injuries on his left hand and fans can only but wait to know the fate of the 2016 Soccer Star of the Year who has had a blossoming career.
Zvirekwi boasts of several national team caps and was part of the Warriors squad that played at the 2017 African Cup of Nations.
