Mawarire becomes first cyber terrorist to be charged in Zimbabwe

The Zimbabwe People First National Spokesperson, Jealous Mawarire has been arrested on charges believed to be linked to a twitter comments effectively becoming the first cyber criminal  to be charged in Zimbabwe

Mawarire who spoke to theZimbabwenewslive.com  handed himself over to the police at Harare Central Police Station, this morning at 10 am after being summoned to the police’s law and order section.

“contravention of sect 88(b) of the posts & telecomms Act for a tweet I made in response 2 Moyo attacks on Dr Mujuru.”, Mawarire tweeted
