Simba Makoni joins Triangle FC

CHIREDZI – Castle Lager Premier Soccer League outfit Triangle United FC have secured the service of 2015 Eastern Region Division One top goal scorer Simba ‘Power’ Makoni from Melfort  in a move meant to bolster their attacking options reliable sources have told The Mirror.
The in-form striker ended the season with …goals and Melfort FC finished the season on respectable seventh position on the log.
Triangle FC chairman Lovemore Matsikinyidze denied the development only saying that the club has been involved in some other transfers that will be announced in due course.
“I have no information concerning that name, … I am not aware of such developments” said Matsikinyidze.
However The Mirror has learnt that the premier league side has sought the service of the forceful Melfort striker after an impressive season with the Division One side last year.
It is also understood that the sugar boys are going to be busy this window as they look to strengthen their squad as they finished fourth on the log 12 points behind  champions Chicken Inn FC.
“This is the end of the season so some of the players might be leaving for contractual reasons while some are offloaded but we are working to bring in fresh blood but I am not at liberty to disclose any deals yet” sport
