Zimbabwe announce limited overs series against India

Zimbabwe Cricket has announced that they will host India for a limited overs series consisting of three One-Day Internationals and three Twenty20 internationals to be played in the month of June.

All the six games will be played at the Harare Sports Club over a 12-day period extending from 11th June to 22nd June.

Zimbabwe Cricket Managing Director Wilfred Mukondiwa said, “After finalising all the formalities with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), we are pleased to announce the incoming tour scheduled for this June.”

India toured Zimbabwe in 2015 for a three-match ODI series and a two-match T20I contest with the visitors winning the ODI leg 3-0 while the T20I leg was drawn 1-1.

This series against Zimbabwe marks the first international fixture for India since the 2016 ICC World Twenty20.

After the completion of the tour of Zimbabwe, India are scheduled to tour West Indies to play a four-match Test series which begins in July.
