Susan Dzinamarira, Mathias Mhere’s wife has apologised for cheating and ‘putting the name of her husband and work into disrepute’
Susan Dzinamarira who was cheating with her husband’s close friend and fellow gospel musician Gift Mahlupeka said she had put all the shenanigans behind to concentrate on her family.
She however denied ever bedding the low-level artist maintaining that it all ended on Whatsapp.
“I want to apologise to my husband as a man, it put hs work as a musician into disrepute again. I apologise to my husband, his family, my family and the whole nation at large for what I did and I promise that it won’t happen again.
“While I am not defending myself, I also want to categorically state that the affair started and ended with text messages and there was no physical contact with Gift.
“It all started as simple texting and got deeper in the messages but we have ner had any physical contact,”said Susan.
Susan said she loved her husband and was ready to pick up the bit and pieces and make her marriage work again. “I have been married for six years. It was the first time that have cheated on my husband and have learnt that it s bad and I would want him (Mathias) to forgive me, ” said Susan wearing a lugubrious face.
Susan said they had reached common ground with her husband and had buried behind them what had happened. “everything is now solved after all this. will have to concentrate on my marriage and children we were blessed with, ” she said.
Mathias could not be drawn into discussing much on the illicit affair choosing to play it safe and concentrate much on his latest project Glory to Glory. “I put all that to God. God has he answers for that and I am only human to deal with that. Ini ndinongodzorera mbiri kuna Mwari ndiv vanoziva,” said Mathias
He said he was still mourning his brother and was concentrating on making arrangements for the funeral. “I really have to concentrate on my brother’s funeral,” said Mathias
Mhere however is not quite the saint as in November 2013 he grabbed headlines for pestering an MSU girl, Mitchelle Jowa, he had given a lift in his car. He had borrowed $30 to fix a punctured tyre and told the girl he would only return the money if she gave in to his love proposal.
